In light of current events surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Premiere Healthcare is committing to bringing you up to date with our actions to help our staff, customers and community.
Best practice measures
During these challenging times, our team at Premiere Healthcare are working hard to ensure that we support all of our customers and service users, many of whom fall into the vulnerable groups for Covid -19. We have put in place best practices to minimise the risks both for our customers and staff.
We are working with all of our partners to provide the best outcomes for service users and their families. We can confirm that all of our team are fully aware of the self-isolation requirements and have made it clear that should they find themselves in a position that they need to self-isolate, what the steps are that they should take and how this should be communicated.
Pandemic and infection control policy
We have updated our pandemic and infection control policies in line with Government policy – to include additional advice on handwashing and hygiene. We are telephoning all of our customers within 24 hours of any planned appointment so that we can identify and add in any additional measures and controls that individual customers may require, or postpone those appointments if that is appropriate.
Dedicate response team
We have established an in house Covid-19 project team to keep up to date with developments as they arise and manage risk accordingly.
I want to personally reassure all of our customers that in these unprecedented times we are putting the health of our team and our customers at the front of all decision making and taking advantage of all advice from the Government as it becomes available.
