Last week Premiere Healthcare’s specialist seating assessor Annabell Thomas supported Cath Harris and Rachel Gillet of the Community Resource Team at their Posture Management Training at April Court Care Home in Swansea. The aim of this Premiere Healthcare training, was to build and develop the carers skills in providing good posture management with simple tools, which help to prevent larger scale problems occurring later down the line.
Premiere Healthcare loaned a set of Askle Positioning Aids as part of this training. The Askle range of Positioning Aids feature high quality ergonomically designed positioning aids and cushions to aid the support and comfortable positioning of users in beds and chairs. This training was part of a pilot scheme to help support staff at ground level. The feedback received was hugely positive and the training was enjoyed by everyone involved.
