Why might I need to rent specialist seating?
We have a wide range of rental clients, from healthcare professionals to those caring for their loved ones and of course, individuals themselves. There are many reasons why clients choose to rent their specialist seating solution, rather than purchase outright. They might need a fast solution to enable a discharge from hospital, for which our rentals can be available in as little as 48 hours. There may be the unfortunate last-minute need for a chair due to a sudden illness, or the seating might provide short term assistance for someone in recovery.
As many healthcare professionals will know, sometimes an urgent rental can mean the difference between a patient being discharged or a prolonged stay in hospital. If we can provide the equipment needed, this saves space in hospitals, frees up much needed funds for the NHS, and means the client is more comfortable too.
How easy and cost effective is it to rent?
Renting specialist equipment couldn’t be easier, with our specialists on hand to advise you on the optimum seating for a patient’s needs, either via an online virtual assessment or over the phone – whatever is easiest for you. Once it has been determined how our equipment can best be of service, they will also talk you through our low daily rental fees from just £12 + VAT per day.
Alongside first-class service from our expert team, we also offer delivery with a speedy turnaround and a professional decontamination process.
What if something goes wrong?
The equipment we can provide through our rental service makes a big difference to the individual and the carers, as well as their family, so it’s imperative that if things go wrong, they are fixed as quickly as possible. When you rent from us, we offer free replacements in the event of a fault with no repair costs.
Our skilled team have been servicing specialist seating for hospitals, care homes, hospices and private homes for over 15 years, and have seen and fixed almost every kind of malfunction there is for just about every specialist seating brand.
What is the process from outreach to set up?
After an individual, care giver or family member reaches out to one of our Customer Champions, we take care of the rest. First, we arrange a virtual or in-person assessment to determine the most suitable equipment. During this assessment, our team will be able to talk you through your options including rental or purchase and how long either option will take to arrive – for rentals this can be as little as 48 hours. If there is a need to do so, our assessors are sometimes able to leave the assessment chair.
Following the assessment, you will receive a quotation from our team, which will be exempt of VAT for those with mobility issues. Once you have decided to go ahead with your purchase or rental, the equipment will be inspected, and rentals will be delivered within 48 hours.
After the initial period has finished, it is completely optional to extend this depending on the needs of the individual. Once the chair is no longer needed, we will collect this from the home or facility at no extra cost.
