We recognise that even though care teams all across the UK are stretched right now and have been for some time, they are so passionate about helping their clients in whatever way they can.
Carers rarely get time to research additional training sessions, and even if they do, cost can be a real issue as budgets are constantly stretched.
We want to be able to offer teams support so they can find the most suitable chairs for their clients – we can host the sessions virtually via our video suite or deliver training at their facility when it suits them.
Helping to build confidence and knowledge on specialist seating
Training sessions give all carers a better understanding of how to find the most suitable chairs for clients – with so much specialist seating on offer, the amount of choice can be daunting.
Once they have discovered the best solution, we can also help build confidence of the most comfortable ways to position residents in their seating, as well as how and when to adjust chairs and equipment.
The right seating is so important, as it can reduce painful pressure sores and improve and maintain posture.
When delivering the training, our team can also advise carers on how to make the best use of the equipment they might already have.
The sessions can also help to build confidence when advising family members on their loved ones needs, as well as giving care teams a greater knowledge of the solutions available as well as cost implications.

The training sessions can be carried out face-to-face or in our virtual suite and run between 1-2 hours.
Throughout this time, the team will cover a multitude of topics including:
