The best chair is the one that perfectly meets the patient’s individual needs and situation, adjusted for the perfect fit. So we’ve developed our needs assessment process over many years of experience…single-mindedly to improve lives.

We work with you to understand the patient’s needs, including their medical history, physical limitations, challenges, and any impairments; setting clear goals for functionality and quality of life

First we will take key personal measurement points to ensure that the seat can achieve exactly the right height, depth and width, the armrest is perfectly positioned, and the back height is correct.

We will focus on the ideal seating posture for comfort, stability and balance. We consider pelvic alignment, spinal curve and head position, ensuring that the patient’s feet are flat on the ground or footrest if needed.

And then pressure redistribution features are chosen, such as tilt in space, to reduce the risk of pressure injury (sores and ulcers).

Based on assessment, our friendly assessor will bring the best chair out to you to try for yourself, adjusting it to fit you perfectly. We’ll often have one or two alternatives onboard too.
