Tilt in Space
Tilt in Space Chairs allow an individuals seating position to be easily adjusted regularly meaning that their pressure can be redistributed to help prevent pressure injuries and pressure ulcers. The tilt in space function helps to prevent skin breakdown and in conjunction with built in pressure relief will reduce the incidence of pressure sores and encourages healthy blood flow in the sacral (bottom) area. Tilt in Space is an important function on our specialist seating and is also found in a range of wheelchairs including the Rea Azalea.
